Optelian is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced International Sales Manager to join its Sales team under Optelian’s Versawave division. Versawave provides modulation components for high-speed data and high bandwidth optical transmission applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Will be responsible for New Sales Opportunities via prospecting, qualifying, selling and closing services and products to Optical RF over Fiber, Antenna remoteing, Telecoms, in the space, avionics, marine, enterprise, Government, Military and research and education verticals
  • Portfolio of products to sell include ultra-high speed optical modulation solutions, e.g. >40GHz
  • Will manage client relationship through all phases of the sales cycle
  • Will conduct one-on-one and group sales presentations
  • Will provide account management internationally
  • Will be responsible for tracking customer information, forecasts and reports
  • Will develop and maintain prospect and customer list based on strategic marketing data and other sources for sales leads in our CRM system
  • Will have a proven track record of establishing new accounts (hunter)
  • Will have a proven track record of closing accounts

Qualifications

  • Must be able to demonstrate sales record (minimum 10 years) at a high level of achievement
  • Solutions-selling experience in any one or all of the following areas: RF components, space, avionics, marine, enterprise, Government, Military and research and education verticals
  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent work experience) business, marketing and sales or related field of study
  • Analytical skill set, strong presentation skills, ability to interact with any level within an organization
  • Self-motivated, ability to multi-task, work independently and within a team
  • Outstanding Written and Verbal Communication Skills
  • Well-Developed Interpersonal Skills and Professional Demeanor
  • Second language (Spanish/French) is an asset
